When I was picking out carpet for the new home, part of the deal with the seller, some folks told me that they didn’t like the type of pile that showed paw marks when cats walked on it. They liked the look of vacuum lines. I beg to differ.
I vacuumed yesterday. The lines were impressive. It’s hard for me to vacuum with the hip, but I haven’t found a cleaning lady yet. Then, I got out the aforementioned Kitty Tease, and played with the boys this morning. They were chasing it all over the bedroom. Not only do I love the paw prints, I love the sound the cats’ paws make when they are running and jumping on new carpet.
Sometimes we have to forego cosmetics for enjoyment, don’t you think?
